Before we locked down the Roxburgh St Art location we looked at other possible options. After seeing a post from another student in the exhibition paper Facebook group I emailed bill.giannakakis@gmail.com to find out more about the space above Glassons. I was not able to get a response therefore we sticked to the Roxburgh. From the images shared on Facebook, I liked how the space was wider even though it is only one room.

5 Roxburgh St Mount Victoria
The Roxburgh St Art was our initial location that we found
more suited to our original concept of Behind the Façade, we decided to stick
with this as it meets our price range how close it is and we like that it is
not completely similar to a white cube gallery space. Before we locked down the
space we had a phone call meeting with Denise to discuss what we wanted to do
with it as well as set up time for a site visit. We kept in touch mostly
through emails. For the space that we rented we were able to get a discount
from her usual price of $120 per day to $100 and we also got replaced some
lightbulbs reducing the total cost from $350 to $330.49.
