Week 8

Made different layouts for our catalogues and figures that it would be best if it would looked simple and with that 'mock-up' look which connects to our theme, wireframe.

From each catalogue made, I illustrated 'wireframe' by making all the process work as the theme of our catalogue which consists of  Research Design, Design Concept, Ideation, Iteration, and Development Process.

Each page also has the artist work that explains/examples what are the process is. It also shows the what our exhibition is, the layout of the site, the layout were the artist artworks are and the explanation of what the process works are.

The layout is divided into three. So, the first one is A which is the big room, second is in the hallway which is letter B, the third, fourth and fifth are in one room which is the last one (C, D & E).

The design layout of the catalogue also illustrates the lines seen from the poster made by Michael and used the colour of orange also as our main colour scheme.

Invitations

The private invitations for this event were straight forward but so important to us. As we wanted all our private invitees to attend we got our invites printed on high quality silver card.

Branding

I started my design process to brand our exhibition as 'Seeing Beyond the Facade' When our name was Facade, we played around with the idea of branding our exhibition, I found it rather difficult to come up with a brand so I decided to use the F as the driving force to brand this exhibition. Here are some different brush strokes I played with. I couldn't satisfy my myself let alone any of my group peers with this 'F,' so I moved on to using panels as a sort of brand, to capture the idea of 'Seeing Beyond.'
